
Neapolitan Lasagna
Neapolitan lasagna is an iconic dish in Italian cuisine. With layers of pasta, rich ragù, béchamel sauce, and melted cheese, this lasagna is an absolute delight.
Ingredients:

- 250g lasagna sheets
- 400g minced beef
- 400g of tomato puree
- 250g of mozzarella
- 100g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Olive oil, salt, pepper, basil to taste
Preparation:

In a saucepan, sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic in a little olive oil. Add the ground beef and sauté until golden.

Add the tomato puree, season with salt and pepper, and a few basil leaves. Cook over medium heat for about 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, prepare the béchamel sauce: melt 50g butter in a saucepan, add 50g flour, and mix well. Then add 500ml milk, stirring constantly until smooth. Season with salt and nutmeg.

Cut the mozzarella into cubes and grate the parmesan.

Prepare a baking dish and begin assembling the lasagna: spread a layer of béchamel sauce on the bottom, then add a layer of lasagna sheets, a layer of ragù, diced mozzarella, and grated Parmesan. Repeat the process until you've used up all the ingredients, finishing with a generous layer of béchamel and Parmesan.

Bake at 180°C for about 30-40 minutes, or until the surface is golden and crispy.
