A few rules

By carefully following these few rules, you will cook with your Pietrella for many years, always getting the most out of it.

The first time you use Pietrella, lightly grease the surface with cooking oil, heat over low heat for 10 minutes, and blot away any excess oil with paper towels. If you cook without oil, repeat this process at least once a week.

Caution

Never leave the empty piece over a flame; it could overheat and irreparably damage the coating. Always use a low flame for best results. Do not use metal or sharp tools; use plastic or wooden spatulas. Never cut inside the pans. Do not store food in the pans after cooking. Pietrella products retain heat for a long time; handle them with care. Do not wash in the dishwasher, do not use harsh detergents, and do not use steel or abrasive sponges.
