CHRISTMAS TIME - Crunchy Christmas Tradition
On Christmas tables, many recipes vie for the spotlight, but on Christmas Eve in Naples, one dish is particularly beloved: fried cod. This year, too, it will brighten the table with its irresistible crispiness and deliciousness.
THE INGREDIENTS:
- Desalted and soaked cod
- Flour to taste
- Seed oil for frying to taste
PREPARATION:
- Cut the cod into chunks, without removing the skin, and pat dry. Flour the pieces evenly.
COOKING:
- Fry the pieces over medium heat for about 5-10 minutes per side.
- To avoid it falling apart, only touch it to turn it over when it is golden brown.
PLATING:
- Place the golden and crunchy pieces of cod on frying paper.
- Add a pinch of salt and serve. Enjoy!
