
Vegetables with Wok

Ingredients:
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 yellow pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 courgette, sliced thinly
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Toasted sesame seeds (optional), for garnish
Preparation:
- Heat the Pietrella wok over medium-high heat and add the sesame oil.
- Add the minced garlic cloves and grated ginger to the wok and let them brown lightly to release their aromas.
- Add the pepper strips, onion, and carrot to the wok and stir well. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables begin to soften.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the zucchini slices to the wok and mix well with the other vegetables.
- Pour the soy sauce over the vegetables and mix well to distribute it evenly.
- Continue cooking the vegetables in the wok for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through but still crisp.
- Taste and adjust salt and pepper to your taste.
- Transfer the wok-fried vegetables to a serving dish and garnish with toasted sesame seeds (if desired).
- Serve the sautéed vegetables hot as a side dish or as a main course with basmati rice or noodles, if you prefer.
